FAQ
GET YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
-
Is there an age limit? There is NO minimum age requirement. We will not turn anyone away at the door for being too young. However, some people might find our show is not appropriate for younger children as we are akin to late night television. There is some mild swearing and sexually suggestive humor. However, if you are alright with this, then we are too!

Where are my tickets? After purchasing you should have received a confirmation email with your tickets from Esther's Follies. If not please make sure your purchase was successful. For any questions please contact our Box Office at tickets@esthersfollies.com. In addition there is no need to print your tickets. You may show proof of purchase on your mobile device via the email/eTicket you received. We also have a willcall list of all of the attendees of the show. The email you receive is for your piece of mind that your reservation went through. Feel free to keep it handy when you come to the door, but all you will need to do is check in with the last name of the person who purchased the tickets.
-
What time do I need to be there? Our lobby is open at 6 PM for 7 PM performances and at 8:20 PM for 9 PM performances. Pre-show begins 15 minutes before showtimes. You should aim to arrive at least 20 minutes before showtime. However, to allow yourself ample time to grab a drink or food before the show we suggest arriving 40 minutes before the show. Please have tickets or email out and ready to check in as our lines tend to be long, especially for our 9 PM show turnaround.
-
How long is the show? The show is an hour and a half long, with a short 5 minute intermission.
-
Is there a dress code? No, we are a casual entertainment venue. Guests can wear shorts, dress to the nines or in between.
-
Is there a drink minimum? No drink minimum, but we promise we're funnier after a few.
-
Do you serve food?Yes, our bar offers freshly popped popcorn and candy. Our friends at Taqueria Las Chismosas are accessible from our courtyard where they serve tacos, burritos, quesadillas and snacks to our patrons during showtime hours. You can come early to eat in the lobby or take your food to your seats. Take a look at their menu below.
-
How does reserved seating work? All seats are reserved and allocated on your ticket. You'll just need to check in with the box office upon arrival, so please have your ticket or email confirmation out and ready. From there our ushers will show you to your seats.
-
What is your refund policy? We will issue you a full or partial refund for tickets as long as it is the day before showtime. If you need to cancel the day of the show, we will credit your account for use to future performances.
-
Where do I park?As downtown street parking is limited, we recommend using Convention Center Parking, the large garage one block away from us on 5th and Red River. It will cost $10 for the night.
-
Are you a full bar?Yes! There is also a taqueria attached to the courtyard where you can purchase food. Food and drinks are allowed inside the theatre, but the only tables are located in the lobby or in the courtyard. Be sure to arrive early enough to make your food or beverage purchases before the show.
